Trevino Isaacs
Managing Director and Principal
Trevino Farrel Isaacs, being born into a music-orientated family, was influenced by his grandfather to join a gospel band when he was a mere four year old boy from the Cape Flats in Cape Town. This later grew into a deeper desire and curiosity which led to a passion for learning all there is to know about music.
Melvin Williams
Bass Guitar, Guitar, Piano and Music Theory
Melvin Williams is a Cape Town-based musician. He started playing electric guitar at the age of 7 years. He grew up in church and learned to play the drums and bass guitar. There he found his love for the music.
Sherri Adams
Violin, Piano/Keyboard and Guitar
My love and passion for music and specifically, the violin and piano, was cultivated from a very young age. I hail from a family of music enthusiasts and church musicians thus i grew up surrounded by different music styles blaring from the radio in our family home to singing along to guitar accompaniment at family gatherings and later joining our church band which i am currently still part of to this day.
Nathan Stephens
Piano/Keyboard and Guitar
Nathan Stephens is a multi instrumentalist from Cape Town who discovered his passion for Music Education in the year 2010. He has been teaching piano/keyboards, guitars and drums in various settings ever since.
Charlette Dickson
Vocal Trainer/Coach
I am a freelance Jazz Vocalist. I have done backing vocals and lead vocals for a few Jazz ensembles in the wine lands and greater Cape Town area and have shared stages with George Werner, Ernie Ulster, Alvin Dyers, Mark Fransman, Ramon Alexander, Prof Mike Rossi, William Haubrich, Darren English, Wesley Rustin, Frank Paco, Alex van Heerden, Willie van Zyl, Ivan Bell, Jack Momple to name a few.
Abigail Cookson
Cello, Piano and Guitar
Abigail Cookson, formerly known as Aby, pursued music at the young age of 8 yrs. old. She took up violin lessons from Gr 2 to Gr 4 at Rustenburg Girls Junior School. She was then homeschooled from the age of 10 and took up cello lessons at Beau Music Centre under the guidance of many well-known teachers such as Cheryl de Haviland, Sarah Acres and Marian Lewin.
Jean-Pierre Stevens
Drumming
Born in a Pastoral home Jpgrooves Stevens found himself in church even before he could speak. And as many other musicians, that was where it started for him as well. Born in Cape Town South Africa. Jp started playing at the early age of 7. And hasn’t stop since.
Josh Roelofse
Drumming
Music has always been a integral part of his life. His parents enrolled him into Beau Soleil Music Centre at the age of 8 to give him an opportunity to pursue his dreams, there he was trained on drum kit and percussion in both classical and Jazz genre, taught and mentored by Frank Mallows and later, David West. During this time, he performed in various Chamber concerts, Jazzathons and gala concerts with junior bands, senior bands and orchestra's.
